2016 & 2018 – Member of the USA Water Ski Show Team

  • The USA Water Ski Show Team is selected by the team’s show directors from hundreds of applications from around the entire country.
  • I’ve been selected to be a member of the team twice (2016 & 2018) to do the show’s audio production.
  • The team practices the “show” during the week leading up to the tournament. My role was in the “production” side of the show controlling all of the audio from announcers, music and other audio effects.

Past Board Member of Non-Profit Organization and Active Participating Member

  • I have been a board member of the organization for 7 years where I tracked and maintained membership of the organization, managed member communication and facilitated media communication and promotion of the organization.
  • I setup, design and maintain the team’s initial website (www.madcityskiteam.com). It has since been redeveloped.
  • I was a member of the Clean Lakes Festival Committee, a festival the ski team started to raise community awareness and funding to assist with the efforts to clean up the area lakes, streams and wetlands in the Yahara River watershed. I’ve helped setup and maintain the website for the festival. The festival led to the creation of the Clean Lakes Alliance which works year round towards this goal.

Other computer/web skills that I’ve developed over the past several years include:

  • Setup and maintain Google Apps for several organizations
  • Setup, create and maintain a variety of websites using WordPress as the content management system which allows for easy maintenance of the content as well control over how the content is displayed
  • Video editing and production including the creation of DVDs and Blu-Rays with full menus, titles and transitions to give the finished DVD or Blu-Ray a professional look and feel
  • Wide variety of computer skills including the ability to build computers from scratch, troubleshoot issues, fix hardware and/or software issues, plan onsite and offsite automated backup procedures and setup of small networks
